Natal Moon Overview

Natal Moon is a rare interspecies hybrid — Psilocybe natalensis crossed with Psilocybe cubensis Phobos (also known as Albino Mars). It was bred by MycoCat Genetix, the mycologist who originally isolated the Phobos parent line. This is genuinely different territory from most of our catalog: rather than a cubensis-to-cubensis hybrid, Natal Moon crosses two separate Psilocybe species, combining the elevated potency of Natalensis with the leucistic albino signature of Phobos. Medium-sized fruits with white caps 2 to 3 cm wide, edges turning upward as they mature and greying at the center, gills shifting to a distinctive grey-blue as spores develop.

The Experience

Natal Moon is visual-forward and intensely euphoric. The P. natalensis parent is known for a smoother come-up, less body load, and a cleaner, more uplifting headspace than typical cubensis. The Phobos (Albino Mars) parent contributes the depth and weight of the peak. The result is a kaleidoscopic tapestry of colors, saturated open-eye geometry, and dense closed-eye imagery, riding over a clear, positive emotional current rather than the chaotic weight of PE-family hybrids.
