Creature

Creature is a community-circulated Psilocybe cubensis strain. The specific breeder and parent cross are not formally documented in public sources. The Creature name references the strain’s tendency to produce fruits with irregular, sometimes asymmetric morphology — fruits can express wavy caps, twisted stems, and other non-standard features at varying frequencies across flushes.

Fruits are medium-sized with caramel caps that often express wavy edges or asymmetric cap shapes. Stems can be straight or slightly twisted. Bruising is moderate-to-strong blue under handling, an indicator of elevated psilocybin content. Growth is reliable but morphology varies more flush-to-flush than typical cubensis. Yields are moderate.

The experience profile is vivid and unconventional. Onset is typical (30–45 minutes), peak around 90 minutes, total duration 4–6 hours. Visuals are strong with a slightly off-kilter, organic quality — closed-eye patterns tend toward biological shapes rather than purely geometric. Body load is moderate and can feel variable in the first hour. The headspace remains articulate at lower portions but climbs quickly at higher doses.

Because of the high potency and deep-blue-bruising profile, Creature is classified Advanced in our system — not a first-time strain. For experienced users, 1.5–2.0g produces a full session. A museum dose (0.7–1.2g) is a reasonable way to meet a new-to-you Advanced strain. Microdose protocols use 50–100 mg every 3–4 days. Do not use another person’s dose as your instruction — effects vary with portion, food, sleep, setting, and individual sensitivity.

Advanced-tier strains reward preparation. Keep the space simple and known, plan for the full arc plus 1–2 quiet hours after, and never plan to drive, work, or make consequential decisions during the session. First-time users should start with a Beginner-tier strain like Golden Teacher and come back to Creature once they have a personal reference point.
